Tisha is an author, writer, and editor serving publishers and writers. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in professional writing and a master’s degree in English education, she freelanced for Fortune 100 companies before joining the publishing industry.
Since 2017, Tisha has partnered with traditional and hybrid publishers, emerging authors, and established authors. She has coached and edited over 300 manuscripts and has written back-cover and marketing copy for dozens of books. Since 2014, she has been a book judge for ACFW, Next Generation Indie Book Awards, and Writer’s Digest.
Encourager is her middle name. Joy and peace are her superpowers. Brainstorming, problem solving, and details are her jam. A lifelong learner, she loves attending, speaking, and networking at conferences. Her most favorite thing is walking alongside authors as they figure out their stories and characters or message, and offers gentle, kind support as she asks just the right questions to unearth brilliant storytelling and insightful details.
She owns Tisha Martin Editorial, LLC, where her client list includes a handful of award-winning titles. Tisha is a member of EFA, ACFW, Fictionary, and American Association of Christian Counselors. She and her husband live in southern Indiana.
