Carrie has worked in publishing for over 20 years, beginning her career at Baker after graduating with an English major from Hope College. Since joining the freelance world in 2004, Carrie has focused primarily on proofreading and copyediting trade books, both fiction and nonfiction. She has proofread numerous titles for Baker Publishing Group and HarperCollins Christian Publishing, including books by Shawn Smucker, Irene Hannon, Suzanne Woods Fisher, Holley Gerth, Glenn Packiam, Jeremy Camp, Hank Hanegraaff, and Michael Hyatt. Her experience in copyediting adult fiction includes authors such as Jane Kirkpatrick, Melissa Koslin, and Stephenia H. McGee.
