Kristin is a freelancer writer and editor based in Redding, California. She currently serves independent clients and major publishers through her business: Spring Tutoring, Writing, and Editing Services. This includes freelance copyediting for Salem Books and Igniting Souls Publishing. She also serves as a freelance copyeditor for HarperCollins Christian Publishing, completing nonfiction and children’s fiction projects for Thomas Nelson, W Publishing, Tommy Nelson, and Nelson Books.
She’s worked on titles by the following authors and many more: John Trent, Gary Smalley, Kari Trent Stageberg, Sarah Stewart Holland and Beth Silvers, Hank Hanegraaff, Liz Marie and Jose Galvan, Jeremy Camp, Devon Still, Lori Allen, Sheridan Voysey, Laura Story, Tamara Bundy, and Valorie Burton.
Editing skills: content editing, line editing, copyediting, proofreading and format checking for books and web content, as well as business, ministry, and personal documents.
Writing experience: biblical articles, blog posts, flash fiction (fantasy), poetry, Bible studies, study guides, and more.
Kristin studied at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where she graduated in 2000 with a master’s degree in ministry-based evangelism.
She loves helping clients create their best written works and grow through the process. Her interests include movies, painting, dancing, singing, kayaking, and any other activity on water.
