Kristin is a freelance writer, editor, and tutor based in Redding, California, a city she loves all the time, except in August! She currently enjoys serving independent clients and traditional publishers through her business, Spring Services: Writing | Editing | Tutoring. This includes copyediting, proofreading, and format checking books for HarperCollins Christian Publishing, proofreading for the nonprofit I Like Giving, copyediting and proofreading prophetic reports for the ministry Aqua Regia, along with developmental editing, line editing, copyediting, and proofreading for self-publishing authors.
Her work spans dozens of books in fiction and nonfiction genres, everything from children’s books to Amish romance; Christian inspiration, devotionals, and Bible studies to self-help; and memoir/biography.

Kristin studied at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where she graduated in 2000 with a master’s degree in ministry-based evangelism. She loves helping clients create their best written works and grow through the collaborative process. Her personal interests include acting, film, literature, painting, dancing, singing, kayaking, and any other water-based activity.
