Joshua is a longtime professional editor and a New York Times–bestselling author who has written or contributed to more than 20 books for adults, teens, and children.
As an editor, he provides services to a variety of publishers, including HarperCollins Christian, Tyndale, Crossway, David C Cook, New Growth Press, Barbour, and Awana.
As a writer, Joshua’s freelance content (feature stories, devotionals, opinion pieces, blog articles, curriculum, etc.) has been featured in nearly 40 different publications. He is also an experienced sportswriter with several published sports books, including Believe It: My Journey of Success, Failure, and Overcoming the Odds, the bestselling memoir of former NFL quarterback and Super Bowl LII MVP Nick Foles. He is also the editor of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes’ biannual magazine.
As a former full-time children’s minister, Joshua loves creating content for the next generation. He has written many books for kids and teens, including picture books I Can’t Believe My Eyes! and Empty!; kids’ devotionals such as the Heroes of the Bible Devotional, the Heroes of the Bible Devotional 2, and The One Year Sports Devotions for Kids; and teen devotionals such as The One Year Devotions with Jesus and Creator, Father, King.
Joshua lives in Durham, North Carolina.
