Dudley partners with top-tier authors, agents, editors, and publishers to craft bestselling books, ancillary products, and curriculum with life-changing impact. An award-winning poet, novelist, and biographer, Dudley has worked with dozens of New York Times bestselling authors, including Amy Grant, Max Lucado, Rick Warren, President Jimmy Carter, Sam Rodriguez, Ian Morgan Cron, Michael John Cusick, Touré Roberts, Lee Strobel, Karen Kingsbury, Clay Walker, Craig Groeschel, Chris Hodges, and Chuck Pagano, former head coach of the Indianapolis Colts.
A former English professor (Colorado Christian University, University of Denver) turned publishing executive (with divisions of Penguin Random House and HarperCollins), Dudley enjoys exploring faith in unexpected people and places, as evidenced by his books The Faith of Dolly Parton and The Faith of Queen Elizabeth. Dudley graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he also earned his MA before heading west to complete a master’s degree in counseling at Colorado Christian University and his PhD in English and creative writing at the University of Denver.
When he’s not reading and writing, Dudley enjoys traveling, hiking, following his favorite sports teams, and listening to live music. He and his wife, Dotti, have three adult children, one grandchild, and a Goldendoodle named James Taylor. They live in Sewanee, Tennessee.
